Welcome!

PASTOR, REVEREND MIESHA OSBORNE received her early education from within the New Jersey's Monmouth County Public School system, affectionately rooted within the Long Branch city schools. She later earned a Liberal Arts Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a Bachelor's of Science degree in Administration of Justice from Rutgers University, and a Master's of Divinity degree from Payne Theological Seminary.  She also pursued further theological studies, attended Princeton Theological Seminary, and obtained a certificate of completion within the Theology and Ministry Program. Currently, she is enrolled in Wesley Theological Seminary's Doctoral program with an anticipated graduation of May 2024.

Pastor Miesha has served as a part-time student within the Johns Hopkins Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) program and served as a volunteer clinical chaplain who served the emotional and spiritual needs of staff, patients, and visiting family members.

Pastor Miesha served at Mt. Calvary AME Church for nine years, under her mother in ministry, the (retired) Pastor, Reverend Ann Lightner-Fuller, and later, Reverend Bobby Cox. She was appointed and held the position as the Minister to Youth and Director of the Young People's Department (YPD) for three years.  With a passion for preserving our legacy and securing our future, she sought God's directions and encouraged the spiritual growth of five youth ministries, led youth participation within quarterly community outreaches and active participation within worship services.

On May 27th, 2016, Reverend Miesha was ordained an Itinerant Elder within the 123rd Session of the Western North Carolina Annual Conference, under the Right Reverend William Phillips Deveaux, Sr. Presiding Prelate of the Second Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church.

On May 26th, 2018, under the Presiding Prelate, of the Second Episcopal District, Servant-Bishop, James Levert Davis, she received her first pastoral appointment as God’s called servant-Pastor at Wayman’s Memorial AME Church located in the heart of Baltimore City, Maryland for five years. As Wayman’s first female pastor, she launched new ministries, expanded community outreach, and led extensive renovation and repairs initiatives.

On May 27th, 2023, she was appointed as the first female Senior Pastor of Bethel AME Church, located in Centerville, MD and remains honored to serve and is eager to make an impact.

As a walking work in progress, Pastor Miesha remembers Matthew 19:26 "With God, all things are possible," and remains humbled at how God has called her "unusual" to assist in God's ministry as a wife, a mother, a daughter, a friend, and a Pastor.
